About “HIV: NYC”
“HIV: NYC” is a collaborative video project highlighting several HIV+ New Yorkers who chose to share a very intimate part of their lives through poetry and prose. By ignoring stigma, “HIV: NYC” sheds light on the reality of living with the virus that causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). “HIV: NYC” is meant to give hope and inspire others to come together in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
The cast and crew of “HIV: NYC” urges you to know your own status and understand that if you are HIV+, you are not alone.
